Yesterday, I was craving a moist, rich chocolate cake!
I`ll promise you, this baby is going to send you to chocolate heaven, it`s that delicious!
100g dark chocolate
200g brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
40g cocoa powder
125g frozen berries of your choice (I took blackberries)
Preheat oven to 180°C/375°F.
In a small pan, melt butter together with chocolate over medium heat.
In a bowl, mix together sugar and eggs.
Add the chocolate butter mixture, stir in flour, baking powder and cocoa.
Stir until well combined.
Fill your batter in a square cake pan (22cm) and spread the berries over the chocolate batter.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Let cool on rack for a bit.
I couldn`t wait, and ate it when it was still a little warm.
The combination of the rich, warm chocolate and the slightly sour berries is just amazing!
